We've all been there: it's raining, you have somewhere to go, you grab an umbrella and 2.2 seconds later your umbrella is inside out, broken, or just not doing its job to keep you dry.
This was Deirdre's experience. Between that and watching a documentary on ocean plastic Dri Umbrellas was born.

Deirdre Horan is the founder and CEO of Dri. Dri is addressing the ocean plastic crisis by building a line of durable, eco-friendly rain umbrellas from recycled ocean bound plastic. Dri umbrellas are created to protect our oceans, and actually keep you dry.
